Fog City Pictures is on a roll. Our two latest films, AROUND JUNE and MOONLIGHT SONATA, are doing well on the festival circuit and distribution deals are in the air.
We wrapped principle photography for our fifth feature film, TWO MOTHERS, a few months ago. Director Jeremiah Birnbaum worked with well-known editor Bruce Cannon (Boyz n the Hood, Four Brothers, 2 Fast 2 Furious) to complete the film.
Fog City Pictures also recently co-produced a short film by Sundance award-winning director, Tanuj Chopra. The film, titled PIA, screened at the 28th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival this spring. More on PIA.
As always, Fog City turned to the well-trained filmmakers of San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking (SFSDF) to be responsible for critical portions of the production. From AC and Script Supervisor to G/E and 2AD, SFSDF students and alumni feature heavily in the production of these films and earned the kind of feature-film experience that takes years - and a fair amount of luck - to obtain.

AROUND JUNE
A love story set in the shadow of the shipyards of San Francisco. A young woman (JUNE) living with her much adored (UNCLE HENRY) and domineering, abusive father (MURRY), meets a penniless illegal immigrant (JUAN DIEGO), whose love gives her the insight and courage to finally break free and live her own life.
